San Antonio, Tx HAMB'rs Where are y'all??

my 50 chevy pickup 3100 came from San Antonio, used to belong to a guy called Bo Southern, dont suppose you guys know him do you ?

 

Yeah I live at culebra and 1604...this way I can meet up closer to my side of town.

 

I'm not sure of the route but really there are 3 points to this event.

1. Help families in need.
2. Get your cars out and drive them.
3. Meet other people who share your interest in cars.

Why not "drive" into town to the shop and "meet" some other folks before going out to the christmas tree farm so you can "help" needy families.

 

I used to live next door to the Christmas Tree farm, and just so you know there is a bumpy as shit tree lined with branches that reach out and grab you dirt road for about 1/2 mile before you get there. May not be the best road for a bunch of hot rods to drive on.

I live about 4 miles away now so I'll cruise over there this week and check it out to see if its any better these days and let you know...

Up in Boerne, north of town. Usually lots of cars with a few old school rides.

No Name, I am actually packing up and going to store everything for a month or two and get my life back in gear. I have a lot of personal stuff to deal with the beginning of the year. I go down 1518 when I go to Seguin. Didn't know if you had a hot rod shop, mech shop, storage, diesel etc. I liked the thought of getting local SA, Cibolo, Schertz, UC, people together for a cruise or burger night. Biffs is kind of hit or miss so I was just keeping an ear out for a new place. Hope times are easy for you and you get you family together. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

I'm in laredo,tx no hambers here working 31 5 window

 

There are at least a couple of hambers in Laredo. They came up for the Hot Rod Bustle and had a good time.

Names Eddie. I live in Boerne and go to Soda Pops as often as I can. Just look for 71 Ranchero painted Plum Crazy. I was raised in Bandera by the way.

Man glad I found this site lot of San Antonians around, cool!

 

Dan at Canyon Lake. Think we are moving pretty soon and need to sell off some projects and goodies in storage. If you are looking, give me a message. Also, is there a Hamber's place between Canyon Lake high school and Blanco? Always see projects in front of the garage but haven't stopped by there. I'll probably be taking stuff to the Roundup and the swap meet in New Braunfels but thought I'd give a first shot to the "locals". Gasser stuff, pickups, a roadster, good parts.

 

I would be interested in taking a peek. Might be available if you need some extra hands in the move as well, though I don't have a truck to help haul (yet anyway).
