I bought these fenders for my 37 Chevy truck thinking they are 1/2 ton fenders and now I'm thinking they might be 1 1/2 ton. A friend asked me if I was sure and now I'm second guessing myself.

Can anyone tell me what I've got. They're definitely saveable but I'm at the point where if they're not 1/2 ton I'm gonna start looking.

They look like big truck fenders. Look at the front of them. A 1/2 ton fender will have notches in it to clear the frame horns. A big fender will not.

The second pic shows the notch for the frame horns...kind of hard to see, but best I could find.

I have a '37 GMC 1/2 ton which is the same basic truck as the Chevy '37-38.. I think you have fenders for a 1-1/2 ton or larger.. The comment about the notch in the fenders at the frame is correct.

Have the notches. This is good news then? I was thinking the wheel well was bigger. Anything else I should look for?
