I know some of you are not going to like this combo and i know its questionable to put wide whites on a 64 but hey its a cadillac dont they deserve wires and WWWs.. i was going to go with a 235/75/15 radial with the small white but by the time i priced checked coker with my aliance discount they were the same price.. and the wires i got a smokin deal on them...
mine is a dark maroon right now going to do it in a deep candy purple and will be lowered all around maybe bags not sure yet.. the car in the back isnt mine .. i have had many cars with 100 spokes but all 63/64 bel air or Impalla and a few o/t cars but i just like the 30 spokes for some reason. i looked at dayton cross laced 72 spoke but couldnt spend 2g on wheels
nice looking wheels, they'll look fine on anything, especially your Cadillac. Don't worry about the naysayers, they're just jealous that they're not stylin'
That will look good! Look forward to seeing them on the car. Classic Cadillacs look AWESOME on wide whitewalls. It's the only way to go. Here's my friend's green '59 next to my red '59. the wide whitewalls make all the difference. I'd say even into the early 70's - wide whitewalls look better. For 60's it's a requirement IMO!
You folks have some kool cars over there in the UAE. Love those Caddies. Is it true that gas is so cheap over there they pay you to take it?
Thank you! Almost true! I need to check the maths again but I'm pretty sure the fuel is still cheaper than drinking water by volume... drinkable water is harder to find! Cost of fuel back home in England would be 5.5 times what it is here. I think I'll stay here a while longer
Yes, the largest fresh water table in that region is under Iraq. Imagine that! Nice cars over there, gentleman.
the only thing missing on mine is the huge fins, its got to be pretty cool to cruz around there in a 59,i know you posted that you dont have air,i am glad mine does and it works..sweet 59 caddy
Hey SpeedRacer2000, those whitewalls will look fine on your 64. I've got them on my 60 Cad Coupe. Personally, I'm not sure about the wires though, but as others have said, it's your car and there's no one else you need to please about it. Do us a favour and post some pics after the wheels are fitted. In the meantime, Merry Christmas
