I like those a lot better too. I also really like the stance and it looks better with the running boards. Can't wait to see your progress on this car, it relaly seems to be going in the right direction.
Here is the only photo I have of Harry's car. It was sold before I moved to Lake Havasu City in 1996 and Harry no longer lives here .....
Some more on my Merc. Runs so nice whit the columbia in the rear. In the winter I will fix the carson top to the car.
Well done J.B...so you make a collage with another long line of Mercs next year at the Old Style weekend...to make a panora-Merc-o-wiew Sweden can even show them more of these togheter by itself,no doubt ...many hidden crazy cool fabricators there

Pretty cool Janne! That would leave a few people guessing. Your link just gives the same sized thumbnail picture.
Janne .... roof looks real good on your drawing.I love your art pieces I think they are some of the best. It is always refreshing to see something different on a 40 Merc.I would go a little further and go with a full fadeaways and flippers.I really love the roof you did though.
Very cool Janne! I've had the same idea to make this style roof out of a sedan. Neat to see a drawing of it!
My 39 sedan that I'm building over here in Oz. Chassis mods are done, steering installed, will be getting into the body next year.
Thanks for the great response! On this particular car (rendering) I wanted to show mostly the top modification and 1941-48 Mercury (and Ford) style customized running boards.
