2012 annual what did you buy/sell this year?

Yeah, may be true, but HAMAB-friendly cars is all that this site is about, nothing else.

 

After hitting the raccoon I bought two fenders(from a HAMBer),grille & shell & P&J shocks.
Might get them painted in 2013 I hope.

 

Unless your 22 and chasing pussy! then its chicks first, and website approval second! By the way, what the hell is the HAMAB?

A lot of gals don't necessarily have to "remember". They know what appeals to their sensibilities.
They "get it", and are attracted to these old cars. Age really does not come into play,
... style, and aplomb is what matters.

56don lets all remember here the extreme popularity of Rocky Famoso's "what us trad rodders were doing in the 70's" thread which could be argued as non-HAMB friendly but is one of the best threads on the HAMB currently which many people can argue along with myself....most of us met the chicks with non-hamb friendly rides back then by purchasing daily drivers that targeted/appealed to women while we also worked on our HAMB friendly project vehicles on the side... Most often these projects got finished years later but now we had a good girl to keep around in the end... If Jay.S had sold all his model A's this would be a different story but he recently acquired a roadster body which in my opinion is an upgrade to the coupe where at the same time he also acquired the daily driver 4x4 to meet chicks with... Someday he may end up with the girl he remembers meeting with the 4x4 but will be cruising around with her in the finished 28 roadster...many of us can relate to similar stories happening in the 70's...

 

Sold 34 pickup project and bought a 47 Ford Club Coupe. Can you say late forties Kustom?

Sold a '62 Rambler Classic 400 Cross Country... Actually, I gave it away, the car had been given to me and a friend wanted it...

In process of selling my O/T Grand Wagoneer to make room for my newly purchased O/T daily, a '97 Cadillac Seville (Sevilleish doesn't quite sound right, does it?).

Other than that, just a new career as a CNC operator and a ton of parts traded and sold this year. Next year's already lookin' pretty damn good!
