I was warned years ago when I was buying Torque Thrusts for the '57, must use all the money he gets to run ads in magazines.
I hope you get your problem resolved, if it was a charge call the card issuer.
Any other form of payment, call the state attorney general's office in your state and his.
    Good Luck! KK

I find most customers who are critical of a business have no idea what it takes to be successful in business. Businesses exist to make money for their owners. How do you expect them to make their money if they don't screw their customers?

Wow, that BBB rating doesn't get much worse, does it ? Doesn't exactly inspire confidence in buying from him.

Sorry about your situation; I hope it gets resolved to your satisfaction. My solution is to buy in person when ever I can, which means that I pay a little more. Support your local speed shop.

beyond smart idea to deal locally. rodparts is a joke to get a hold of or deal with. They tried to screw me on evilbay and evilbay stepped in and gave me a full refund and advised them to fix the problem since they have had so many problems with them on their website. Do not buy from these people, period. Your local shops need your support and more often than not will actually cut you some serious slack if you are a supporter of their shop.

Any business with a Better Business Bureau accreditation of an F ought to tell someone to go elsewhere for parts.

  18. Yer gonna love this 1 guys.
8 years ago set out to build 3 -32 roadsters @ 1 time to flip
Called them and placed an order for many misc parts, ya know shifters, pedals, tail lights, headlights etc.
Placed the order and then told the gal X3 on everything
the total order for everything was around $2500.
A week later 3 large boxes show up, do the inventory and order was complete.
Next day, 3 more boxes show up, same exact order.
Got busy that day, so never had a chance to call them
Next day same deal, 3 more boxes full of parts, same exact order, call my credit card company, was only charged the original $2500.
Waited over a month and never heard from them---- Oh well
Sumtimes ya win & sumtimes ya lose
Never oprdered from them again, figured I was ahead of the game
BTW finished all 3 of the 32's and sold them @ the LA Roadster show 3 months later

A dumbass employee makes a $5000 mistake and you feel no obligation whatsoever to notify someone there about the error???

And somehow you think that's okay?

Bought a fuel tank from them for the 50 Chevy, however I think it was shipped from TANKS. Went well, price was right, and free UPS. This was a few years ago.

Maybe they're screwing all their customers to make up that $5000 loss.

  26. No kidding, seems a bit criminal to me, or at least immoral.
