Official 2013 SACRAMENTO AUTORAMA / SUEDE PALACE Thread

Hi everyone , This is the official 2012 Sacramento Autorama Suede Palace thread,

The dates for the 63rd annual Sacramento Autorama are February 15-17 , 2013 . And the 'Suede Palace' is going to be another great event.

Like last year we will be having the outside "Suede Drive-In" and welcome everyone that doesn't have a car inside the event to participate. TRADITIONAL ROD & KULTURE Magazine continues to be the sponsor of the building.

*SPECIAL REDUCED VENDOR RATES FOR SUEDE PALACE* - We realize the economy still isn't great in Sacramento county , and we want to help. Those interested contact us asap.

Applications for the car show part of the 'Suede Palace' are coming in steadily, and the building is already filling up. Car Clubs like the POORBOYS , ROAD LORDS, SATANS CHAUFFEURS , ROAD KNIGHTS, ROYAL JOKERS, BEATNIKS, DAGMARS, REELERS, (just to name a few) are attending, as well as many Custom Rod shops from all over Northern California.

ENTERTAINMENT:

Friday February 15th - Live DJ's spinning all day & evening.

Saturday February 16th - 'The Mighty Mojo Prophets' - Authentic Chicago Blues all the way up from L.A. 2:00 p.m.

'Mitch Polzak & the Royal Deuces' - Phenomenal 3 piece Rockabilly, Blues, & RocknRoll. Mitch Polzak's guitar techniques are a must see! 5:00 p.m.

Suede Palace Awards Ceremony with many car club's & business' participating - 6:00 p.m.
Pin Up Contest brought to us by "Mitzi & Company Photography - 7:00 p.m.

Sunday February 17th - The Vintage Vandals - Local Sacramento Rockabilly 12:00 noon

Special guest DJ's 'Scott & Maya' will be spinning rare vintage vinyl all weekend long.

Thanks to Alex and his missus for hosting this room. The music is always excellent, the vendors always have good stuff, and then there's the cars, too. Looking forward to seeing some old friends and checking out the cars.

We are trying to finish up a car and I haven't had my A coupe out in years I was thinking about cleaning her up and getting her out. Also on the Friday night of the Autorama we have our open house/party. So if you guys are around come on by. it starts around 8pm.

 

Looking forward to another great show. The Satan Chauffeurs will have 4 cars in the building and a few more outside on Saturday. I'll post some pictures when I get home.

Ian- hope to see ya there. If you do plan on coming bring some shirts for sale.

Axle- don't forget to stop in Merced on your way up.

Went last year for the first time, Wow, what a Great Show!
Hoping to make it there again this coming year,. weather willing.

We will be there again this year, Representing the look of the 60's-70's Street Freak/Gasser. Hard to compete with the Chop's and Tail draggers. You folks have some talent and some beautiful cars.

 

The shop on the upper car is stunning . Well done !

Always an awesome part of the Autorama....wish I could take a car this year!
