fiberglass carb scoop mounting?

i just ordered one of the scoops

i've got a few ideas of how exactly i'll mount it but wanted to see some others ideas of how they mounted theirs. any thoughts and pics would be great! thanks!

 

also, is there enough room inside these scoops to put a small filter assembly inside?
