Love the metalwork you've done around the tail end, I honestly wasn't too sure to start with but it's all coming together nicely.

Hey Tim, thanks bud! I'm as stoked as you on how the first attempt came out. It is a single piece of sheetmetal. Take a look at the first picture on the previous page and you can see it clamped between the wood forms I built. The lower wood has a 3/4" radius routered into the edge. Slowly you hammer the sheetmetal over the wood, taking your time working back and forth. You have to stretch and shrink in the corners but in the end it will turn out like it looks. I had to hammer/dolly it after to take out any small ripples.

Oh, I missed those pics, I didn't go back far enough i guess. I figured that radius was going to be too much for a hammerform, that's the main reason I asked. Looks DAMN good man. Keep it up!

Bit more progress complete this afternoon today. Formed up the passenger side splash panel. Once both sides with held and bumper back in place i fiddled around with the spacing between bumper and pan. Both sides are ready to be fitted and tacked in for good.

Tomorrow should be able to get both sides tacked in and then I can start laying out the forms for the center section and the bumper ends.

Great day in the garage today. Cut out both sections to fit the splash pan sections.

After both sides were fitted. Our other buddy Trevor dropped by with his router so I quickly cut out some forms for both the center and bumper ends. Ended up forming the center section and getting it fitted into the car while the bumper was off. Here are some shots with the bumper back on the car. I am so happy with how its looking now.

Not totally finished yet. Still need to finish the center section underneath the override and the bumper ends. This will probably be the last day of working on the car till after christmas. Want to wish everyone a very merry christmas!!!
Here is an early xmas present I got for myself. Eye Mechanic finished up the rendering I contracted him to produce for me. I am so stoked on how awesome it turned out. He laid out everything the way I have planned and I believe it is as close to how my car will look.

    Merry Xmas Everybody!!
