model t 4-bar insanity check

    That's neat, the Cunningham sports car had a similar deal on the front, I think.
     
  2. i agree that is a very cool idea, i just dont know if I want to go that extream got to keep it cheep. i did make a geometry check for a triangulated 4-bar and believe it will be my best option. yes the pinion angle changes but I think for the better concidering that the drive shaft it heading up hill so it may help keep the u-joint from wearing out. here is a simple drawing i came up with.

    looking at the model I think i will use the triangulate 4-bar and make all brackets double shear. this should work with this hot rod. thanks for all the advice.

    Wow Scott! Your tinker-toys are fancier than mine for designing. Hahaha....Looking good. This is why you always have one on the road!
