Yeah, Ricky! Right you are!;) I looked and thought it was just an early AK-47. Then, I looked closer! Holy shit!

The COOL thing was that the police in the gun buy-back program in Connecticut INFORMED her what it was and let her keep it to try and sell it to a museum of a collector who will treasure it for the historical value. THOSE were some real gentlemen AND PROS, too!:D Thanks, copper! Oh, did I say that??? Jokin'. You guys did the right thing, and few in our society nowadays appreciate people who just do the right thing.;)

Anyway, NO Saturday Night Special there!

Jimi'shemi, It was a trick question. The article say that there was seven different automobile company's that built a automobile named Mercury. The first one in 1904. The last one being Ford in 1939. Chip.

Hey, right, Chip! Sorry, I didn't think of it that way. Last company that built a "Mercury," as I recall, was quite gracious in abandoning the name to the Ford interests. And, I don't think they asked anything in return.

    Beer parade, 1932

This festive float speaks for itself! More than 100,000 New Yorkers showed up to Mayor Jimmie Walker's "We Want Beer" parade in 1932, urging Congress to repeal the Eighteenth Amendment.
