It would be amazing to get this for my car. Its my 5th shoebox and ive never been able to keep one due to well ...life but this is my keeper now. Im ready to work on it!

 

Here's my work in progress. Once the rest of the car is stripped and sprayed with epoxy primer, the body will be coming off for the suspension work. That 2link sure would work perfect on it!

 

It would be sweet to put the Jimenez kit under my 53' as soon as I get the chop done I'm pulling the body off to start on the suspension! I was going to fab a 2 link but this would definitely make life better & easier!





my suspension as of now is bone stock but I have a 9" ford rear or an 8.8 ford? I dont know as of yet what to do with the front besides keep the stock front rails. I want this to lay frame! I also have a complete air ride tech kit for the car. I've also got a 394 olds motor with 3-2's with a 700r4 or a 4l80E trans. as for shoes 51' chevy steelies with the clips removed painted gold on 5.60 firestone poly's!

I'm about to start on this one and am gathering parts right now. all I have left to get are the C notches, bag mounts and 2 links. So this is perfect timing for me. Already have the spare frame to get it all laid out in!!

Here's mine before the tornado. The roof is caved in but a replacement has been purchased for the impending chop. Lots of body work to be done from the flight. Winning this would be the first positive thing that happened to this car in a LONG time.

 

Good looking out guy's. So many of us on here have these long term projects cause of fund$. Case in point, my 49. It hasn't rolled the black tops since the 60's. I recently got hooked up on a power train and my motivation is back on board. This 2 link would be a dream come true. Thank you for your consideration..
