"I ran a marathon yesterday through a local rural area and was thinking the same thing, every farm had a barn or set of sheds that just had to have something in at least some of them!"

I did the same thing, only I was driving not running. I find running tedious after the first two or three steps.

Perhaps I can help with some questions about this car and its history... I hope. 52 years is a long time to remember.

crf500 - I'm guessing that the car is still owned by the same fellow who showed it to me back in 2002?

i remember seeing the car in the first picture at the cam twisters show in joplin--i don't believe it was glass--talked to the owner with my friend who was building one out of the front of a dodge touring car--doesn't seem like the same car --may just be to ragged out for me to tell--seemed like a very nice build at the time--blue wasn't it?

so, does Speedy Bill have it or not? Hard to believe it was used in a recent ad if it was ensconced in that garage for so many years. Is there a paper trail back to Fahrner?

The Speedy bill ad was from back in the day... It was parked in front of the old Speedway location.
