  1. Love your dads Merc! What year is it? Can´t say I ever saw one like that.

I PSed a Volga years ago. Loads of potential in those cars.

  2. Hey James that's a 1959 Monterey 2 door hardtop. Love that body style too.

  3. Thanks!
Really isn´t quite like anything else is it.

  4. The 1960 is the same car underneath but they really changed the body from the beltline down. The greenhouse on the 1960 is the same though.

Well you already got an answer on the Merc, think they might be kinda rare! Id love to have a Volga as a daily driver with a little more modern engine, cool little cars

  6. Want rare? Find a '59 Monarch Lucerne!

that is a cool looking Merc. I smoothed up the bumper some and added skirts. a car like that is crying for one of those flake-n-lace-n-candy-o-rama paintjobs

Something I was thinking about today for a 53-54 to be totally different is 51 Ford tail lights and side bumps with rounded tips on the fenders.

Looks really great! Skirts made it alot better

  10. I was wondering what my car would look like with Hirohata-like Buick side trim + an accent color like a cream. Lowered so that you did not see any of my rear rims, and the front was proportionately lowered but kept a tail dragger stance?

    Anyone?

Just curious what a '55/'56 T-bird would look like with '51 Merc (custom) rear fenders / rear lights? Or other old Merc influences ala Hirohita / Ayala / Barris applied to a baby bird perhaps?

I was wondering if someone could do some photoshop for me, I'm going to replace the cab on my dragster hauler with a 42 ford cab, plus I'm going to make it a cab and a half or a crew cab if I have the room, I havin't picked my cab up yet but found this pic on the net, for you to use, not sure what you need so here's the back of the truck , a side shot of a 42 and my dragster, and how it sits on the hauler , not sure on the color of the truck yet, browns or black will work , Thanks Tim Jones

I could use some ideas on color and wheels.
I'd like to keep things simple on the paint.
    Thanks

Hey guys, I am trying to help one of our club members decide on som wheels for his truck. Here's what I am looking for.

This truck (not actually his but similar)
All red, lowered (not slammed) with 16" cragar s/s up front and 15" black steelies out back. Blackwall bias plys up front and blackwall cheater slicks out back.

He needs to run 16"s up front because the truck has a Crown Vic clip.

    THANKS IN ADVANCE!!!!

The Vauxhall is a really special car, dont know what to think of it. Looks great from behind but is pretty ugly up front. The Volvo would look great as a hotrod!

Anybody care to customize a 1959 Opel Kapitän?
