This strange doodle bug thing with the wheel spats is?????
An old 1940's? front tire spinner for balancing tires. It had an electric motor that spun the tire 'on the car' up to speed. Then a strobe light etc.
I saved it to become a base for my halogen shop light. Good and heavy, wheels, yet compact. And cool.

Tried pin striping. Omfg I'm too shaky. Hats off to those that can do it!

Don't worry, I'll bet even the best pinstripers had to start somewhere and didn't produce 'gold' from their first try.
Keep stripin' stuff - if it's something you want to do, you'll get there.
    Cheers.

Keep it up. Try buying a few brushes and working with trimming them to your liking. It takes a while to learn how to load the brush right and get a good flow going.

Pulling lines against a raised reveal like that is tough, even for an experienced striper.
Striping is all about cohesion, you had two surfaces to stick to.
Keep trying, you can do it after 10,000 lines!

All that matters is that you got a start and pulled some lines:)

It takes practice, so don't give up.

I used to wipe off whatever I was striping and redo it over and over again for practice.....

I know a pinstripper here in Florida who is very talented but shakes really bad until he touches the brush to the car or bike whatever he is stripping.

Some of the guys have told me they were almost afraid to let him start when they saw is hand shaking so bad.

He calmly told them to please go across the street and buy him a six pack of beer which they did and once he had a few in him the lines really started to flow!!!!!

This guy is in his late 60's or early 70's and really does some nice looking work and what he charges for the amount of work he lay's down is very reasonable.

Many strippers shake so that sometimes is not a big deal.

Hell I had a good friend who owned a custom cabinet shop who by 10 in the morning had already polished off the first six pack and by lunch time was on his second or even third six pack.

If you showed up at his cabinet shop around 5 he was really in the bag.

    You'll be sorry!

But seriously I do have a lunch counter seat base that could use a few lines....

    I'll be in touch.
