    Congrats!!! I recently bought one as well. Mine doesn't need near as much work but I am waiting to start on it till I raise some funds. Great looking cars.

    Gorgeous! I love Hudsons. My kid wants me to get one so he has his own "Doc" (from the movie Cars) sitting out in the driveway. Hope to see what you end up doing with it!

    Always liked Hudsons, had a '53 Wasp once, engine was worn slap out when I got it and I only had it for awhile.
    Friend had a "hauler", '53 coupe (long deck), Caddy engine and Dual Range Hydramatic. That car was fast "on the road with a load"!

    yall dont hate me for this, but for now its going to get a 250 chevy six[because i have one] and weathered fabulous hudson hornet lettering, rewire it,lower it, ford ranger rearend is allready in it, and ride.best i can do for now on my budget.

    Had a 49 Commodore with a 56 nailhead in it. Was a fast dependable car. Good luck with yours.

    awesome lettering. i wish i could do half as good. body looks pretty crusty, hope the unibody frame is in good shape. hate to see you put a ton of work in on it and have it fall in half! one of the parts hudsons i scrapped out was so rusty the torch wouldn't even stay cutting on that area. it just crumbled apart.

    the unibody is in good shape. its just rough on the outside.
