I hear you on the "can't wait to drive" thing. If you get those gauges to function that dash will be even cooler. Keep up the good work.

Decklid looks good, how many louvres?? Did the louvres end up flattening the crown out of the skin? What are you doing for an inner panel?

Thanks man. It did flatten it out a little but with all the louvers you dont even notice it. I may make an inner panel but im not sure yet. For now its just gonna be square tubing around the edges. Il louver ur deck lid if you want.

Square tubing will be enough to hold the shape and be plenty strong. I was going to louvre my skin as well but not sure. After seeing yours it looks bad ass. Thanks for the offer on the louvring, I'll let you know. I've seen dies for the bead roller but haven't tried them so not sure if they are worth the purchase?? Are you using a press?? I'm assuming your using deck lid hinges mounted on the inside??

    Old pic.
I use a mitler bros press and really like it. Yep im gonna run the hinges on the inside. I like them on the outside as well but with the louvers i dont think it would look right.

They were an after market light that came on a lot of high end cars. Kissel is one that comes to mind.
