falcon ranchero linkage

    anybody know where to get a linkage rebuild kit? mines worn and i cant find parts anywhere......got a 144 inline with a fordomatic all stock.

    Which linkage are you needing? steering, shifter, accelerator, parking brake, windshield wipers, etc.?

    oh haha i though i typed shifter, for a 1960 ranchero.

    I just pulled the 144 engine and trans out of my 1962 Falcon. I don't need any of it.

    PM me exactly what you need, or I can send you ALL of it.

    MrFalcon62gave two very good sources for this deal, but I have always prefered to work with what I had. Well, maybe not PREFERED, but had to. To that end, almost any auto parts place that has ANY sort of High performance cheap chrome wall sells a kit to rebush Hurst shifters. These go about 10.00 and are a wealth of bronze bushings, wave washers and clips. I have used this kit many times to rebuild early Ford stuff and make it all a bit firmer since it does away with the rubber parts. Might work for you as well.

    thank you all! I checked both those sites and neither have it... but Thank you "louvers" thats a great idea.!
