How many of you guys have a pic of your dad then , and now , doing about the same thing with cars as he was doing in ancient times before you? , I love these pics , one was around 18-19 yrs old , right after he got out of the Army in '68 , the other was around 2 weeks ago at age 65 , this '56 is the one I told about being one of 2 of his "forever cars"...

Yeah guys , I know how lucky I am to have him , I'm 42 , he's 65 , and we are best friends , and both of us are avid car guys , so , we have alot of time together on the road looking for cars and what not , time that I will cherish forever....

You should really treasure those pictures along with all the wonderful memories you have of your father.

There is a very special bond between a father and his sons.

I wish I had those same memories of my dad who died in 1962 a very long time ago.

I don't have any present day pics of my parents but I can tell you that in this photo my Dad was smilin' because he thought he was soon to get a new '49 Buick. Mom is smilin' cause she hasn't told him that I am on the way and he won't be getting that Buick afterall.

I wish my scanner was working now, as I have a great shot of my Dad rubbing his head after smacking it on a chainfall he was using to pull a 312 Y-block out of a 56 Ford for another project. The best part is my uncle in the background laughing hysterically at him!!

Nup, sorry, but my dad died in '63, when I was 6.
I'm glad to see some of you are luckier than I was.
    Ahhh well, that's life.
    Cheers.
