I think the Pettingill Powell hammer was what I used.

And on a tangen for FYI purposes, here's some other newer generation power hammers that come in kit form... (both basically the same)

A few years I bought out an old pattern shop that went under for cheap, old huge, table saws , ban saws , jointer's, planers , mostly 3 phase stuff.
Had that shit for over 2 years no one was interested.

Then a friend of mine said don't you have Amish living in your old farm, ask them. I figured hell they are all electric & 3 phase to boot, they don't even have electric but I walked back the lane to ask them anyway.

In a week everything was sold, don't know what they did with them and really didn't care but one who bought the planer told me he was going to rig it to run hydraulically ?

Well Motobilt you had us going on that one. Who ever spotted that it was on a lot nicer trailer than most scrappers would be using has a good eye. Now I hope you will be putting up a thread on rebuilding it for us to follow along with showing us what you can do with it when you are done with it.

Awesome score. I'd probably trade a kidney for one of those.

I seen last night a kidney was going for $150K on the blackmarket, how do you feel about waking up in a bathtub full of ice?
