    Nice metal work. Digging the extended quarters and rear treatment! Love the frenched head lights too.

    Man how much does led sticks cost over there?. that is not a cheep venture to do these days.. Very nice workmanship.. Glad i found this post.

    we used about 45 pounds of lead probably half of was filed away and into the bin ;-)

    well, weve been askin that question ourselves too, but i guess he kinda fell in love haha
    he already did tons of work on it, like getting it through title inspection and stuff
    needed alot of technical work redonetoo, alot of floorpanels rewelded etc
    so yeah you could say he was better off finding a more solid and original car (i would too) but seeing the amount of passion and work he already has putten in it, i concider it more to be a crappy kustom being saved and redone the right way

    Well, interior and glass is out, top is bare metal now.
    Only some bracing and she's ready to get a top treatment..
    Did a lot of research in the past weeks about the amount of chop and the way the B-pillars should look like... Is think I will chop it 3½" in the front and "eye-ball" the rear till it flows with the rear fenders..
    B-pillars will get the Metranga merc style slant, like the Dale van Zant '49..I just love that.!!

    Holiday well spent..!
    I went for a 3" vertical drop in the front and ended up removing 4½" in the back.
