    Kool - Thanks. figure real steel getting as crushed as some were those had to be really nasty wrecks. the modified cars are the stars.

    Thanks so much for the memories of my yputh. The group of Hot Rods are the Cavaliers. Some of the cars I recogmise are Jerry Montgomery 32 Plymouth.[OLDS], Hoody Mitchel chopped 41 Stude [OLDS?],maybe Don Mitchell 26 rdstr. They were older and from another part of St Louis,but some I knew later.The race track withthe hangers is Parks Air College in East St Louis. The pics of Arfons and a few others are from Cordova,Il. The Plymouth pickup was also Olds powered,and light tan color. The car show pics are I think from Herbs Hot Rod shop in s. St Louis. Dick
