Folks Of Interest MAN DOWN!!!! MAN DOWN Jeem

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by Hot Rod Ron, Nov 27, 2012.

  1. So very own Jeem was attemping a latest stunt in the parking lot on his new skateboard and end up on the wrong side of the pavement. I think he is home now from the hospital and recovering. Not sure if the face will survive so if you have a bath salt asult in your neck of the woods let us know so we can have the transplant medical team on stand by. We can rebuild him stronger and faster than before.

Wrong side of the pavement? That would be horrible.

I think you mean the wrong side of the skateboard :)

    Hope he gets better soon.

  5. Jeem,

Sorry you took the spill and I hope you feel better soon!!!...

but this thread is useless without pics :)

  6. yea wrong side of the pavement sounds like the wrong side of the grass you don't normally get to come home after that.

So Jeem broke his face? As in major plastic surgery broke his face? Bad news bears man.

Tell him I am thinking about him and to get well soon.

    Benno

You are a sick sick man. :D :D:D

    He broke his foot!

Hope you get to feeling better Jeem

several videos available featuring adults on wheeled boards 'instructing' the youngsters on their proper use and operation thereof. Of course they all result in a range of disasters (natch, or they wouldn't be on YouTube). "Tricks are for kids"

give me a nice safe high-performance car or aircraft any time.

  11. Damn kids and them new fangled skate boardy things!

Feel for ya buddy. I had a front wheel come off a bicycle at about 30 MPH when I was 12. Took all the skin off the right side of my face and tore two teeth out roots and all! Painful recovery but eventually good. Still have a small piece of asphalt buried deep in my chin as a reminder

As I texted him the other night, gravity can make you it's bitch pretty quick! And that is from someone who was PAID to fall off of skate boards about thirty years ago! Hurts a hell of a lot more at 43, 44 or so. My last off netted me 3 broken ribs in front the entire neighborhood. Also damn good thing I'm Facebooktarded 'cause I WOULD swipe the pictures I've heard of! Heal up soon buddy, so we can try it again on mini bikes!

How about pulling skateboarders with mini bikes a la Ben-Hur? Get well soon, falling has become a LOT less fun as I have gotten older.

  26. Jeem,
It's much safer to ride a 2x4 with skate wheels, an orange crate, and handlebars of wood. I highly recommend them.
    Best wishes,

I've had my fair share of downs on boards & bikes - that's why my old board is hangin' on my wall most of the time , lol ! I'm sure I'm bound to get all jacked-up when I teach my daughter how to ride a skateboard (she's 4) . Hopefully noone's got a camera rollin' !

    Speedy recovery , Jeem !
