View attachment 1799184 I'm one of the big OLD pricks. If it is a vette you don't need to hotrod it just hang on tight for the ride. I had a 55 & 95 one movin sumbitch too, & have a 66 now that I had for 16 years. 327 & 350 Hp.
Oh yeah I also have a 32 hotrod yep they are all mine & I have the pinks

Hi, I guess I qualify as a Corvette prick too. Trying to add a hot rod rating though. Anyway I wouldn't worry about the tank sticker. They didn't start applying those til the very late '66 model year. Now a protect-o- plate on the other hand would be what you would want to find. With out the original motor though I would say go with a period correct 327 with a number of stromberg's Oh ya, red lines for style, 5/8" inch white for class.

Wow! That's a good find! Am I "that guy" when I say I have the same color '64 Vette, but different top? Color combo is pretty rare.

 

I would go with a repop factory tires and hubcaps. Thats just me.

Great lookin survivor `64. If it has raised pads where outside door handles mount,and 4hole sill plates its an early `64. That 6500rpm redline = 327/365 or fuelie; like you said. Real neat in saddle tan. Super cool vette!

Fellow Corvette Prick here as well, but a '65 Coupe, 327-350 4-speed, '67 big block hood, side pipes, rasiused rear wheel openings with wide Cragars in back, narrow in front, shaved emblems.

Your find is awsome! But I'm going to differ from the others and say go with the Gold Stripe tires as it would tie in with the body and interior better. I want to get some Torque Thrusts as well some day.

Plus, I have owned Corvettes for 45 years and DO understand the "prick" part.

 

Former corvette prick...but I'd be one again if I found a C2....near the top of my most wanted to own, but probably never will list.
