Lets see some low stuff running a leaf spring setup, static lowered, non adjustable suspensions, the way it used to be. How low can they get?

  2. Low enough to bang the driveshaft against the tunnel. ;)

Don't have the pic one for ya sorry.

My '62 falcon is dropped 3" in the front (drop coils)

5" in the rear (3" drop springs w/ 2" lowering blocks)

the frame hovers only 2" over the rear axle

  4. How's this. Coils in front & leaves in back. Camaro front clip, reverse eye, lowered springs in back with a couple of leaves taken out, lowering shackles and about a two inch c notch.

When I got it, stock suspension.

Torsion bars are turned down in the front and it has a set of 3" lowering blocks in the rear.

Normal ride height is about 1.5" at the front crossmember. Coke cans and city titties beware!

The second pic is of the front crossmember when the car was parked on grass.

3" blocks, worn springs... shaved bump stops and pinion snubber, pie-cut/raised tunnel and seat pan for clearance.

Too low, so far I have scraped the grill chin, knocked off a trany cooler and can't drive out of my subdivision one direction because of a speed bump.

It's even lower than this now that it has settled.

Yeah, I love seeing stuff like this. Low dollar setups, that get driven. Just like it used to be.

<-----My truck in my avatar. Reverse eye spring in front parallel leafs out back. The 14 inch frame kick in back really helps.

  19. Drive the shit out of this...

3" blocks out back with reversed shackles. Still have not put my CC850's up front and I want the back lower as well. Thinking about maybe taking out a leaf or two?

    Pics...

I like diet pepsi and the truck cab corners love grass, and that was actually with 1 inch blocks to raise the truck up, in the picture. And leafs all around, with a I-beam front axle

Ya just don't see a lot of that in Motown. Our roads have holes big enough for families to live in, and if not holes just straight up trashy road conditions. Bags must be for Detroit groceries...
