looks pretty cool, even if the engineering might be a little dated =)

Nice progress. Why not just use some housing floaters and set it up right. I would do that before coilovers.

I heard they tear up the rear end housing pretty bad, and i guess i just dont like the way they look. I know that isnt the most sound reason. Plus the guy helping me had an idea we want to try. secret squirrel double top security plans muhahahahahaaaa

So, not much to update today, but i did this little assortment of goodies in the mail today. Now if you know me, i am NOT a chrome person, but i couldnt resist this for some reason, to me , its right for the look im going for , for the car.

Thank you ModelAPunk, and yeah Keith, gonna put that sucker together as soon as my pistons come in. This was supposed to be my budget motor, just to get the car going.
Discovered almost no one makes good pistons for the old closed chamber heads anymore. So....i had to get some really good high dollar JEs =/ I guess its not a bad thing but more then i wanted to spend on pistons for this motor. Cool part is they are almost a hundred grams lighter then the cast hypereutectics i originally purchased for the build (back when it was gonna have oval port heads and a very mild cam)
