I'm trying to pack light as possible for the flight there, meaning I may not take my welding helmet as a carry on (TSA will think it's a bomb or something I bet). Could I borrow a welding helmet there?

I took my welding helmet in my carry on bag to the class at Gene's in Nov. No probs from the TSA. You are gonna want it.

Thanks the TSA was my only concern, taking your belt and shoes off is a hassle enough. Guess I'll bring it then
