I know John though some mutual friends, super nice guy. I just saw and talked with him on Saturday night after not having seen him for a couple of years.

    This is very sad news.
My thoughts go out to you John.

Very sad. Did not know John or his wife but they obviously have many friends that will help John through these difficult times.

    Rest In Peace.

  9. I met John in Paso. He came up and talked to me for a few minutes as I was drooling all over his Stude pickup long before it was painted. Heck of a nice guy.

Sad to hear of his wife's passing.

My deepest condolences to John and his family..........E

Sorry to hear, John is above all as a person. Helped with the transmission rebuild for my '60 Pontiac. He is the Best of the Best period.

John called me when I lost a love one. He told me that he had lost not one but two girlfriends in the past. One in a plane crash and one to a heart attack. We talked for a bit and I remember him saying.. "thats what you call life". When I heard about this I couldn't gather up the strength to call him.. just not knowing what to say. He called me early yesterday morning and he seemed in amazingly good spirits and i just let him talk and again said.. "thats what you call life".. John is one of the kindest people I can think of off the top of my head and I hope his pain fades fast.

  24. There were people from the Bay area, Ventura, San Diego, and more that showed up.
It was great that so many people showed up to give their support to the Saltsman family.
