Any additional info. on this car would be appreciated! Who.. What.. When.. Where.. "Lil Coffin II" (sorry, had my Rods mixed up...)
Can't give you any info but it looks like a copy of the Lil' Coffin. Nice looking car for a custom-ish/race-ish car.
Found a little info on it. 5th paragraph from the bottom, Lil' Coffin II. http://www.carnut.com/photo/garage/stuckey/stucp1.html
Looks like it's similar to the Lil' Coffin which was a 32 sedan and built by Dave Stucky in the late 50's. Heck,I even built the model when I was a kid.HRP
I miss titled the post and "yes" it is the "Lil Coffin II" I also think "Hot wheels" did a tribute car to it but, called it the "Demon." Thanks for the additional info..
I seen it at the "Bushmaster's Rock n' Race Place" drag racing museum located between Strafford and Marshfield on the west side of Hwy 44. Couldn't find anyone that knew much about it.
Easyrider magazine had an article on a motorcycle called the Boneshaker. It was Corvair powered. The article says the police got him at 160 MPH in second gear, arrested him, carried him away in handcuffs with the motorcycle chained to a bridge.
