http://www.hhclassic.com/ H&H Classic in NW Ark. I got one from them a couple of years ago. Edit; PS, I had to buy a quarter for a BA 2 dr hdtp. Everything works except for the "dip" in the beltline under the back seat side glass. I cut a notch in the new 1/4 to eliminate the hardtop "dip" and kept the "dip" intact for my 2 dr sedan. Good luck!
nothing is cheap if you want a good piece i got mine from cars they are good quality they aren't thin nor flimsy not a jc whitney product. what body style do you have.
whats wrong with them???? wavy?? or thorns or rough edges????? not to brag,, but im a pretty good metal guy ,, so if theyre close i can make em work,, ive worked with taiwan metal before....but thanks for the heads up...ill check them extra close
I picked up a set last week from resto world along with doors and floor and trunk pans. I used there floors ,trunk pans and outer rockers on a 55 sedan project a few years back and loved the fit. The full quarters were not out then. So I bought US made patch panels and thay needed lots of cutting and fitting. And also bought US made nomad quarters for a 55 over eight years. Not to say bad things about them. I'm glad they make these parts for us guys trying to save these wonderful cars. That being said you have to rework about every sheet metal part you get in some way. Back in the 70s I put a lot of factory quarters and door skins on first gen. Camaros and everyone required fitting. I remember a GM parts guy telling me thay have a quarter inch tolerance on the GM sheet metal parts. I checked my new quarters compared to the original ones on my sedan. And I fell with some good planning I can bring this sedan back to all its glory. Ron
yea ,,any good body guy knows theres gonna be fitment,,,,, some guy think it should just fall into place...lol
I know they don't fall in to place! Maybe I'm just to picky but saw some on a car and wasn't happy with them...
Redeyewelder keep us updated on the progress. It will be a while befor I start the quarters I have to get the pans installed first. I do have a build thread started plan to document the build. http://www.trifive.com/forums/showthread.php?t=93211
