Wow, I have passed up (stupid me) on a few 48 Fords because of not really seeing too many examples of it taildragger style. Let's just say I will never pass on a 1948 Ford again. Beautiful car, please let him know his car rules.
Paul rules! Super nice guy with a bunch of talent. I met Paul about 10 years ago when I had the garage door up, getting ready to spray some primer and he just happened to be driving down my dead-end street because his girl wanted to show him where she grew up. Now, normally if a stranger stopped the car, jumped out and walked up to my garage and started asking questions about my shit, I'd be less than excited. But as soon as I saw the smile on his face, it was obvious the guy knew kustoms & Boy does he. I'm glad he stopped, and it's been great seeing some of the cars he's turned out since then. He's got a great eye for the era I love. Anyone who has portraits of Bertollucci and Sam Barris on his calf has gotta be alright, eh? Oh, and those caps are darn impressive too.
Whats the formula used to lower the ford? Dropped axle? Flattened crossmember in the rear?? It looks great? Would love for my 46 to sit that way! Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. App!
Yeah KC71 really like this 48 and it's now for sale as well, I might have to try and copy that way cool chop on my 46 coupe...
