Looks like I'm first out of the gate this week.

I found this AMT '28 sedan kit on eBay a few weeks ago. It was in great original, unbuilt condition.

I know it's a little too "street roddy" for some on here but I hope you'll forgive that.

The paint is One Shot "Bright Red" shot through my airbrush. The top and interior look white in the photos but it's actually a very light tan.

Dang, that 1928 Tudor is a nice build! The kit itself is very very nice, I have a couple that I'm tossing ideas for.

I recently finished a 1962 Catalina S/S. Mostly built box stock with addition of M&H slicks, front wheels from the parts bin. Decals come from Decals By Lucas.

The paint job is not the best, but it took The Rebel Motors Award at a show last weekend. I am very happy for that :)

I still have not finished the 37 Ford from last week but I am hooked and already bought 2 32 fords and ordered another model from a Hamb member. Are you guys doing these in a weeks time? How long does it take most of you to finish one?

the best advice on building model cars that i got years ago from a good friend. is to build each part as if it were a model and make that part the best you can . then when the model is complete it will be an even better model.. ((( guy boudette ))) the best model car builder on earth!!!

Nice effort guys. Like that Poncho, sort of Smokey Yunick style NASCAR racer.

3 extremely nice models so far this AM! Drew, the stance on that '28 is killer, it sits just right and I love the Revell rear details peaking out the back! Johnny, I dig the black & gold theme against the black steelies. Looks competition ready to me... And themodelking, what can I say that hasn't already been said? Except, What Scale Is That? Judging from the ground stains and cracks I'd stay pretty big - but then again you may have created an equally artfully replicated ground plate for your pics...

Just off my bench the other day is this Dry Lakes style chopped Deuce 5-window. A little rough around the edges but ready for some high speed runs...

  27. I was ill this week so I had not much energy to work on my models. Only did a bit yesterday.
I fixed the chassis and suspension on my 65' El Camino, painted the interior and detailed the engine. [IMG]

Great stuff again guys. I'm putzing on 2 models, first is an old A delivery I got off e___ and turned out to be so warped that it's taken 3 weeks to get to this point. Second is an O/T T/A Challenger turned full race car. Waiting to see what/when the next build-off starts.
