now you've got me out in the shop looking for some shit in a box somewhere that I can start a project with while I just hope it winds up looking half as good as your shitbox....

 

I had so much fun painting this car! It made it an easy job knowing that its for the koolest dude I know! My gift to a total hotrodder that truly appreciates it! The paint is custom mixed but the product is R&M by BASF. It's just base coat for that sexy satin look.

 

The candy green flames really look good on that Chevy!

Looks real nice. That paint style would be late 50's at the earliest, probably more early 60's, so I'd like to see what it looks like with the flipper caps over the Stude caps, which are nice looking caps but not quite as period appropriate. Either way, you and your friend have done a damn nice job on that one.

Justin that was your good side. LOL. Thanks for all the compliments agian. I got ship box pinstriped on the glove box door from before the paint job. Think i'll go ahead and see if i can find a new glove box door for it. LOl It's not the shit box for sure any more. I do agree on the watson ISH look. I looked at some pictures before and they are very similar styles. I do agree on how the flames show all the curves on this ole ride.
