Pete and Jakes makes a mounting similar. Found that after I had made mine.

The lower mount is made up from an old GM piece and some fabrication. Not Pretty but it works. Swinging arm was laser cut by a friend to a pattern I supplied.

When I built my 348, I got my Alt mt from Alan Grove Components. He makes both a top mt and lower left mount. I chose the lower left mount to keep the top of the motor clean. It was well built and it fit.

Started building my Deuce in 2007, thought/hoped to have it on the road in a couple years......Ha ! After all the years and all the past projects, I should have known better. Anyhow, here it goes to the upholstery shop.

I'm told I might get her back by Christmas:).

It's on my list. What's involved getting a car into Canadia? (why isn't it Canadia, it's where Canadians live, eh) I lived in the woods just east of Radium Hot Springs for several years.

Thanks HRP! I'm really excited to have my whole family along for the ride in a few years when it's on the road. I've got pretty much everything to build the car with the exception of the nickel and dime stuff....which kills a budget as we all know.

    Today's debate is either a T5 trans or a 3spd with Columbia.

Here is my work in process. It should be on the road, briefly, this spring with paint and some interior to follow.

It's no problem for the car but you need a passport or enhanced drivers license to get in, but more importantly to get back into the US.

For a day, I was sure I had a '32 normal front end.. Until I found out the wishbones were too short to be a deuce and are '33-'34.

Does that qualify? If not, then I can pull out the repop taillight I have.. That should get me close. ;)

Finally got the 32 out and running. Still have a lot to do, like finishing the gas tank. Feels good to finally be able to drive it.

Really nice to see a flattie in a Deuce. I went the SBF route having not known anything about one when I started the project. Next one will have an engine without valve covers.

  28. Well finally got a 32 five window to go with my roadster:eek: Bought what has been known as the Coleman Coupe. Got it a few weeks back and have been working on it daily just going through everything and getting it ready for the road. Car has not seen much use in awhile by the looks of things but I got it registered this week and have been driving it. Going to need a clutch this winter and trying to find a noise in the driveline. Should have that nailed down today as 33anda3rd is going to give me a hand running this thing on jack stands so we can pinpoint the noise. Here are some pics. Car is loaded with Patina:cool: Last one is a 5 window I built back in the 60's!
