  9. Had a 58 Turnpike Cruiser 2dr hdtp a few years back. Traded it off to a friend in Tx. Didnt make many of them in 58, 2600 and some change. I swapped the dash out for one from a 58 Edsel Citation and used the Edsel front fender and door trim also. Cleaned up the rear by using 57 Merc tail lights. I miss that thing.

My new favorite picture of this car!!! Already have the underdash record player, nuvue spotlight(still need one more) passing eye mirror and saving for viking spinner hubcaps!!! Then I will buy a vintage shasta camper and paint it to match... My own personal time machine to back when the cars still had chrome and women like men...

This is my 57 Turnpike Cruiser 4 door hardtop here in South Australia.imported from LA back in 2007.once landed, got it registered without too much bother and has been a fun car since then.

Currently for sale as i just dont use it anymore and have plans for another car but need to sell this one first.

I have some chrome trim that looks like would fit a 57 merc, they are like eyebrows for the front fenders, each side has 3 pieces, a curved piece then a big M about inch and a half tall then another curved piece. Aftermarket maybe? anybody seen these before? I have had these parts for 40 years, and are like new.

My next project might be an "off the wall" type; a Merc or Edsel wagon!!
