Totally disagree. I've found dark colors, whether it be green, blue, purple, burgundy... tend to class a car up. Ian Berky's "minor threat" is a great example of purple absolutely killing it on a custom. Another notable purple car is the Billy Abate/D'Agostino '56 Lincoln with the purple Winfield fade.

As far as "purple easter eggs" and questioning a man's sexuality who has a purple car, that's such a ridiculous assertion it hardly warrants a response. I will say, though, I'm sure the Beatniks would disagree with you.

I lean towards mild, subtle colors on these old pontiacs...here's my old 48 with the original Oyster Gray and blue lake blue on it. I totally loved the gray which had a touch of brown in it. The blue was a modern looking but original metallic color.
