    That’s a real nice Poncho you got there. My vote for a dark color shiny or satin, either way will look badass. :cool:

    Totally disagree. I've found dark colors, whether it be green, blue, purple, burgundy... tend to class a car up. Ian Berky's "minor threat" is a great example of purple absolutely killing it on a custom. Another notable purple car is the Billy Abate/D'Agostino '56 Lincoln with the purple Winfield fade.

    As far as "purple easter eggs" and questioning a man's sexuality who has a purple car, that's such a ridiculous assertion it hardly warrants a response. I will say, though, I'm sure the Beatniks would disagree with you.

    Sorry to hear bout the rough times you have had to deal with? You and your family will be in our prayers! I really like the poncho a lot! Have yourself a merry Xmas and get that thing painted!
     
  14. I lean towards mild, subtle colors on these old pontiacs...here's my old 48 with the original Oyster Gray and blue lake blue on it. I totally loved the gray which had a touch of brown in it. The blue was a modern looking but original metallic color.
