Man I love the look on that one the way it is. Even with that stance, I would totally drive it like that

5W32, Started as a 41 Commander 4 door and was grafted with a 55 Pontiac ambulance that was chopped, sectioned, narrowed, and chanelled over an 88 Olds wagon frame with power steering, power disks, and front and rear air ride.

acmechris, mohr hp, and Lockjaw sick rides!

Where are you on the Conestoga now? That looks just like my son's did when we brought it home except for the trim. They made fewer than 2,000 V8s in '54. Only about 7,000 in all. None in '53 and in the middle of '55 they wrecked them with a wrap around windshield. Was it built in the California Studebaker plant?

Here's our Strugglebuggy collection. None on the road at the moment.

This is my son's '54 Conestoga "trailer queen" in New Mexico on one of several trips between here and Texas when he was in college. It has a supercharged 289 Studebaker and a T-5. At this time Dana 44 limited slip with 4.27s. Out of the hole! Without OD.

This is a '64 Lark the engine in it is stamped with a number that identifies it as one of about 200 304 ci R3 engines made in '66. The Big Block.:D It doesn't have the Special heads or supercharger. Not sure about the cam, rods and pistons. It came from and old Stude mechanic. Not L&M.:)

This is a '59 Lark no engine now but it was a 259With the Borg automatic. Though I am am big Stude V8 fan my plan for this one is a 331 Caddy. If I can stand the original color we could call it the "Pink Caddy Lark"

Finally our shop sign. I'm going to dress up like this guy for Halloween. Khaki shirt and pants, lace up work shoes, white socks, belt above my belly,if they make 'em that big, a shop cap made from an fedora, taped together horn rimmed glasses, a pocket protector with a slide rule among the pens and pencils. L&M Motors, who do you think they were? Studebaker and Simca Specialist? The guys in the gas station in "It' a Mad Mad Mad Mad World"
