  3. Drop flyers at pubs & local homes. Call in local print & TV. Advertise- 'wanted- cctv footage, such & such street(s).

BTW- Wonderin' if the thieving scum are on the HAMB.. I had some of those spammer types suspectedly rippin' off my artwork here.

Are you kidding me? This has to be one of the most ignorant statements I have ever seen here.

Why would anyone not want this man to get his car back?

No news yet, just a matter of time and she will be found.

  9. Maybe some real curmudgeons might think that about some 16 year old kid with a ratty trash-can-exhaust Honda, but this ain't a 16 year old kid, and it sure as shit ain't a typical "nuisance" car. I bet there are a few car guys on the police force that know what's up.

Good idea. Drop the flyers at local cruise nights, parts houses, body/paint shops, Rod shops, Machine shops, etc. Just maybe the perps tried to sell off some of the parts for quick cash on a walk in sell.

Email the flyer to shops that are in the region or next state but to far to call on in person.

  11. Perhaps a poster dropped at local self storage places?
Many bad guys lack enclosed storage and many of those places are 24 hour access - most businesses are honest and I bet they may be receptive.

Want to keep this on the car. Not police attitudes.

The truth is the cops are looking. They might have CCTV leads from local businesses, etc. They might not. They might be knocking on the door of the place it's stashed, we won't (and shouldn't) know until well after the fact. But no matter how hard they're working, there's about 3.5% of the American population engaged in illegal activities, and less than .33% of our population is employed in law enforcement. They're literally outnumbered 10:1 and can't do it all. They were never intended to do it all. Our society was established with the premise that good citizens would look out for and help one another.

Somewhere, someone knows where this car is. I pray they turn it up.

I'm not one to take the law into my own hands ...well actually sometimes I am... but I think this calls for a H.A.M.B. posse. I searched on that term to see if there was already such an organization and I found what looked like some happy endings.

  24. Not to cast aspersions on the kinda guys who are on the HAMB. In fact, far far from it, but what are the odds that the person/s who knocked the car off are actually reading this forum? I would suspect, probably quite high. Let's hope this person or persons realises that theft is not the answer and return it pronto. Bad enough if it was "just" an unrelated theft from some opportunisitc scumbag, but to know that it was taken by one of our brothers is doubly disturbing. Let's hope it wasn't a Hambburglar.

I can't believe you just said "HAMBburglar".
Fifteen yard penalty. Do not pass GO.

  26. Ok... Not trying to make light of anything here but the term "HAMBburgler" is pretty funny. :D
I sure hope the car makes it back home soon!

  28. Isuppose if he took your weed then he d be a hempburglar? All joking aside i hope he gets his car back!

  29. Totally been thinking the same thing, just didn't want to go there. Don't mean to twist the original intent of this thread but I hate the possibility.
