Funny to see this thread back up.. I just found out a couple weeks ago where 2 Caddy 331s, one of which just happens to be running, is in hiding. Guy says he might possibly sell it to me.

Keep going. Tempt me some more.

  4. Looking good buddy!

How much are you going to have to beat on the firewall with a 3 pound sledge to get it in?

    Haha!

The New Caddy engine is together with the 34 now up at Kevin Gallagher's Oil Farm in Napa,Ca...I already encountered a problem today when I went to install the new Roto Faze Dizzy, Gotta send it back. The distributor shaft is about 5/16" too long and wont sit all the way down.. [IMG]

First class job all the way. Definitely no shortcuts being taken. What tranny are you running? Can't wait to see (and hear) a video of that 390 running in your coupe. Gorgeous motor and car.

  26. Looks perfect in there Marcus...nice choice

  27. Marcus, Great job! Looks like you got some great help along the way too. Congrats to all involved. That Caddy will fill out the engine compartment much better. I think flatheads look too small in these old Fords. Especially when in 32's. Not as bad in 34's. You sure are doing this up right. You will have some grunt now. Isn't that the point of hotrodding. Squeaks headers look great. He sure has some cool shit don't he? I gotta figure out how I'm going to get him to do mine when I get ready. I wish I was closer. I hate to ask how much that radiator was. I need one of those. I got a feeling it 's going to sting a little. Again, great job and now I want to see it even more than before.
