Hey guys i have a 1932 ford bullnose for sale on another site..... i had someone ask me if there was a b shaped indent in the back of the emblem area. Do any of you guys have an idea of what this dictates? any help is appreciated. -BC
Well i did. And i did send a email to 3w larry asking what it was about but it jusrt has me wondering now what its about....
Most 32 Ford parts start with a B- xxx so they are trying to see if it is a original 32 Ford piece from Henry Ford ... in my humble non-educated 32 Ford opinion
Okay thanks guys, I'm still concerned that they no something that I don't and that I may get screwed if I don't know what it means....... and Larry I've included a picture of the message on my phone with the guys name in several locations. Sorry I just assumed it was you.
show us a photo of the back side where the part numbers are,,or does it say Drake,Vintique or if it doesn't have anything it's probably made in Taiwan . Original Henry Ford parts numbers start with a B. HRP
Hey thanks for all the help guys!! And thanks HRP it's appreciated but I just called the early ford store and they explained it all to me. Thanks again guys!!!!
On the bullnose and emblem I just got from So-Cal, there are no markings on the bullnose itself, but the emblem has a B number cast into the back along with "Vintique Inc." and since it obviously says "Ford" it also has an official Ford licensed label, p/n, and one of those laser hologram labels. This confirms a suspicion of mine that all hot rods have to have lasers.
