I just spent an hour on a search and struck out. What is the application of the RIGHT side tierod end that also has a tapered hole for the draglink? Speedway sells it but napa does if I can find the application. Any help so I can work on the project this weekend?

Were those also used when a steering damper (aka steering shock) was installed? I'm thinking possibly Jeep applications ?

You have to reverse the taper to use with a drag link. The one Speedway sells has a taper on both sides.

Do you know if the tie-rod thread size, and taper size is the same as the early Ford stuff like 40's Ford parts?

The CJ5 one is the one I've used. Anyone have a parts store number;like a MOOG#?
