Anybody run Gennie or smoothie wheels without hubcaps? saw that rallyamerica makes a cover for the smoothies that covers the multibolt pattern... but havent seen them on any rides? I like the Gennie wheels.. but not a big hubcap fan... and wonder what they look like under the cap. Anyone got any pics?
Hey Josh... I have the smoothies from RallyAmerica, and also have the smooth cover that covers the multi pattern... I just run the cone caps instead...
Hey don, yeah, I like what youve got there... will probably buy some for the fun of it too.. These are the covers I was hoping to see on some smoothies. run these with bullet lug nuts and push through cone.
Do a member search for WheelKid... I think he posted some pics of wheels with that cover on it... I remember when he introduced that cover...
I think we were thinking the same thing at the same time! yeah, havent seen this on any rides, but in that thread they seemed to be a hot item.
its pretty neat.. although after seeing the gennie wheels... I am going to have go get me some... the look alot like the original wheels that came on it in 65... closer anyway than the smoothie or the oem. if I remember correctly in 65 the trucks had a center section that looked alot like that.. with it raised and smooth to the center, then was inset for the lugs. not the flat with bump around the middle.
I was browsing around and found evels car... post by evel My front are Gennie from wheel Vintique they are early Ford style 15X 5.5 I believe they were 90.00 for the chrome ones.. I think that is the look im after...
is this something that can be bought now or are they a flea market find..never seen these before..thanks
