Great Find!

    My score today! 1957 Packard Clipper Wagon,came from the factory with a McCulloch Supercharger!!!! Its in really nice shape and still runs!! What afind!!!!

    For real? Even for Studebaker it is hard to believe somebody would have ordered one with a factory blower on it. But, they were hungry for sales and would build to order some odd things if reasonable enough.

    Let's see some pics of that motor, or even better a video clip so we can here the sound too.

    Heres the engine ,I will post more as I go! pPlus this one was special ordered with a 3 speed overdrive tranny and a 4 25 Posi rear end!!

    According to what I just read it is one of only 869 made & ALL were supercharger equipped.... Pretty KOOL!!

    If only 869 were built in 57 that is an extremely rare car. Very cool. Maybe don't do anything to it that can not be changed back to stock to protect the value.

    Bobbie, to post bigger pictures put them into something like photo bucket first then click on IMG CODE and it will say "copied" You can then paste that into your post.

    Nice find. Packardbaker wagons are rare especially one with a supercharger.

    All 57 Packards came with a supercharger as standard equipment.
