Way cool! Encourage him to take it on some local cruizes. Maybe that will encourage him to discover the fun again.

  7. You know, I've spoken to the owner of this car many times - a nicer man you couldn't meet. He spoke about this car a couple times saying he needed to get it going again - I'm so glad it's going to happen. Good luck and I look forward to seeing it at the local cruisins ....

  13. Jack, congratulations on getting your friend motivated to get the coupe back on the road.

Having met you a couple of years ago at the Shades of the Past Monsoon Rod Run

I recognized you right off ,,remember all the rain?

Rumor has it that the guy would have likely have started getting it back on the road 40 years ago and kept it on the road if Famous Jack had not waited 10 years to start working on him!

Just kidding. Jack is the best and is well known for being more than willing and able to help anybody... especially if they have a 32!!

    Keep working,
    Al

Here's a picture of it in its heyday (1961 or 62). I remember seeing it running around (1964?) as a young lad shortly before it was parked. I was 11 or 12 at the time and a big fan of the Bullwinkle cartoon show. I liked the Bullwinkle moose on the spare tire cover. (BTW I just turned 60)

Neat vintage photo, but man is that thing a mile in the air. The teeny tires difinately are a contributer too.
