Larry...Just saw this thread! Gotta get my eyes checked! I gotta Glass one..Hope I can fit in!...work in progress! Gonna get rid of those raised whites!...SOON!
Greg, DAM! That frame is looking great. I need to stop over and check it out the next time I am in your town. Jeff's body would be killer setting on it....
Well just like the Merc club, you can count me out. I'm selling my 5w body after I get it in a little better shape.
this car is aweful, the paint is terrible, you probably dont want it anymore..... i will come over and help you out by taking it off your hands
Hey Studog51 , Let me at least get it running first before you come take it away. I have a fresh Flat engine going it it soon. Then she will be good to go
I don't need no stinkin' windows ...so I recently got my '32 highboy roadster. This is the first "pre-1960" car I've ever owned. I know mine is not "traditional" like many of the ones already posted here. But I also see others already posted in this thread with items that gave me second thoughts about posting. Things on mine like 4 link front, ZZ4 SBC, TH350, etc. made me hesitate to even post it on the HAMB. I love it nonetheless ...well, maybe a little less. But I'll work on it. It's a Brookville body and was built by Mid-Missouri Street Rods for the previous owner. I have all the build pics but here's a couple of how it looks now. I have poor self-control so I couldn't resist adding a Moon tank as soon as I got the roadster since I've wanted a Moon tank for at least 50 years. I'll figure out how to make it functional even if I have to fill it with beer and run a line to the driver .... errr I mean passenger ...no drinking and driving. With the louvered hood sides on: Hood sides removed for the Sanderson zoomies that came with it: In my driveway with the Moon tank:
