Anybody who knows where this car is located to day? Built in LA and sold somewere up north i was told??.... //Rikard
I bought the car about 4-5 years ago, redid all the suspension and bagged it, redid the steering and added a Volvo box, redid the wiring, again, and sold it to a Gentleman in Australia.
Allright. Thanks alot for the info. I think it's the most beatiful shoebox ever with a perfect chop. It was featured in a swedish mag called "Gasoline" a couple of years ago. Would have been cool to find it and bring it over to Sweden but i realize i can forget about it now!!...Australia is a long way from here!!... Thanks //Rikard
There are always nicer ones out there somewhere. The body was straight but the paint was actually marginal. Just goes to show you how photos can be deceiving. I color sanded the whole car and rebuffed several times. Below the belt line were lots of runs and fisheyes and the paint was lifting in several spots and cracking at the drip rails. Poor prep from what I could tell. it was a 5/7" chop with an extended cat walk and the stock rear window laid in. I was told differnet stories on who performed the chop but came to believe Rick Erickson from Extreme Kustoms did it in his back yard with his dad. It had good proportions. Nice driving car by the time I sold it.
Ok. Cars allways looks better on photos!! I think the chop was perfect, at least what i could see from the pics. Nice proportions!!...I have been looking for a 49-51 Ford for some time and have found severel cars that are nice BUT it's hard to find a car that has a good chop..... //Rikard

Yep here in Melbourne, Australia. Saw it Rod & Custom Picnic on 21/10/12. <a href="http://s1197.photobucket.com/albums/aa429/huffy49/Picnic%202012/?action=view¤t=IMG_1370.jpg" target="_blank"></a> It's a real nice head turner of a car.
