Features 33 Chevy "Baker Boy Bread " delivery 1 of 42 made

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by Joe's Garage Montana, Oct 27, 2012.

  1. This belongs to my landlord , a drag racer retired many years ago ,
what it is , according to Jerry , is one of 42 master deluxe sedan deliverys built exclusively for Baker Boy Bread . this is about ten inches longer than the regular delivery, (he has one of those ,too.)
According to him there are only two of these extended cars left , one is restored , and this one , in untouched original patina .
You can see the original Baker Boy signage coming through the potato chip ad.
he has about a dozen 33 - 36 chevies he is gonna sell eventually , he wants to sell in a package , and I can't afford 'em or I'd own 'em

32 Chevy had 4-chrome doors on hood sides.
33 Chevy,as in second set center, has 3 narrow painted doors on hood sides. Also 33 in last front photo.
34 Chevy has the horizontal strips along hood sides.
    Great projects.

Please let us know when he wants to sell these! I have a couple old Chevy's but these things are getting impossible to find in this condition.
When he wants to sell I will be on my way with a trailer!

  12. This pickup is mine , I would sell it , I think Jerry wants around $70,000 for his collection of 33-36 chevies , I'll checked with him ,
    a couple are 33s, most are 34 35s
There are five 3 window coupes
    five two door sedans
    two sedan deliveries
    a 34 buick victoria coupe
    2 other buick sedans
a few other sedans , piles of parts , garnish etc.
around 25 cars that are rollers
    mostly rust free ,
someone could be set for life on projects , Joe

One of the problems with these Chevy's is all the wood, more than Ford by far. My first car was a 33 Chevy master tu-door sedan, it only had 53k miles on it when I got it. Dad and I fixed the ol girl up and I drove it ages 12-16. Then had to have a v/8 Ford. cool collection, especially the elongated delivery. Thanx for sharing. ~sololobo~
