Just picked up my newest toy. Original 1936 ford roadster. Been in the same family for the last 50 years. Its got a couple of issues, and needs a couple of things changed, but its a real roadster. Just thought i would share a picture or two. Enjoy
show off! seriously SUPER nice car! I have a feeling you will be changing the wheels did I mention?, NICE CAR!
Nice, it looks like the seat, steering column and hubcaps came from the same donor car. What's the plan except fix what needs fixing and drive it?
I HATE YOU!!! Just kidding! Do you want to adopt me??? Nice find!! Loose the nasty 80's junkyard parts and replace with some cool stuff and dont touch the body, instant awesome!! Jim
Brilliant find. Too bad they cheaped out on those 80's donor parts. Hopefully those will be the first to go. Very lucky! Congrats!
I agree with everybody else. Steelies, WWW bias plies, original interior, original spare tire cover (or get rid of it all together..) Im jealous
Congrats man, great find. My coupe looked similar when I found it. 14" tru-spoke wheels with pinner whites and bucket seats with a tilt column. Good luck with it !!!
Just plan on getting it running, fix the brakes, see if i can find an original dash and seat and either drive it or sell it. Got too many projects right now, but really couldnt pass this one up. Thanks for all the compliments.
Update: Found a better seat for it, and decided to throw it on ebay and see how it does, if not, it will become this winters project. Kinda hope it doesnt sell, but i cant keep them all!!
Sold my '36 Roadster to a fella in California about five years ago. Kinda miss the car. Picture is in my albums.
