pontiac 347 heads to a 287

Hello everybody

I know its been talked about on here before, but im looking for parts details
I have a 1957 pontiac 347 with a broken rod but the heads are good

Im just needing to know what it will take to put the heads and intake on my 287
what parts will i need to get it done?

Shouldn't need anything at all, just bolt them on. But you should use the 57 exhaust manifolds if you have them ,the exhaust ports are larger starting in 57. The 287 ones would be retrictive but would still work.

any advice on a good source for gaskets needed?

 

Whatever you can get local from Felpro should work. Anything you can't find California Pontiac Restoration should have.
