I don't own one yet, but a 430 Super Marauder is on my bucket list. Here is a pic of one I snapped at BTTF's a few years ago.

Just picked up a (supposedly) running engine and tranny from a driving Lincoln, 430. Going in my '62 Unibody short bed.

    '62 Unibody with a 430 MEL? F'in awesome!!

I'm Melissa, but my friends call me Mel...haha. One day I might find me a MEL, and maybe a sweet little Merc pickup to put it in. It's on the bucket list.

I do run a FE in my F100. LOVE these engines. :D

Mine was just dropped off at the machine shop. Hopefully it will be done, and in a car by spring.

OMG, I finally found something on these engines where people say good things about these engines. I think they are very missunderstood. I have a 58 ParkLane with a 430 in her. She runs quiet, smooth and will pick up the front tire (just a little) when I torque her up.[IMG]

I don't have a picture of it, but a MEL powered dragster won the NHRA nationals in '59. The Singer-Miller special. Miller being none other than Karol Miller of Bonneville fame. I have seen some references to it on the HAMB. Thanks for starting this thread. Those are realy cool motors and strong too. I had a'62 Continental that would just roast the tires, which is incredible for a car that heavy with like a2.90 gear. And it was a two barrel at that.

Here are some shots of the 430 for my son's T pickup. I have gotten a few odds and ends for it over the years, but I'm losing steam. I think it may be too wide and tall for the little T. And it has been a real pain to find someone local who knows anything about them. Any good rebuilders out there?
